Students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade here at Eastside are learning math concepts with hands on learning and real life applications. Mrs. Graham’s class is using unifix cubes to count and master addition facts. Mr. Hope is creatively using “tug-of-war” to compare numbers when multiplying by 10 and 100. In both classrooms, students are communicating their thinking and problem solving along the way. Our teachers know how important it is to reach students creatively and with evidence based teaching in all areas of learning. We are meeting the unique needs of all our students so they can learn at high levels at Eastside!
