Eastside students were together this morning in the jungle for a PROWL assembly! Students entered the cafeteria to be greeted by staff member decked out in safari gear as we kicked off the new semester of PROWL. We all celebrated the growth students have made last semester in reading from all their hard work. At Eastside, we want to be sure every student understands this important part of our day and that each student knows they are in a group that meets their individual needs. We discussed setting a goal for learning in PROWL that we can use to check in and celebrate each success along the way. Two students were celebrated for the huge gains in reading, Hartlee Ball in Mrs. Hackett’s class, and Landon Staub in Mrs. Krogma’s class.
Mrs. Krogman even created a PROWL Howl that will get students excited to begin their day with PROWL! We are looking forward to seeing more growth and student success with each child because of the intervention and enrichment PROWL groups provide!
