1st and 2nd grade students had hands on learning experiences! They ventured outside the walls of Eastside, and got to experience great field trips in our surrounding cities.
1st grade visited the Arkansas Frontier Pumpkin Patch in Quitman. They learned what it was like to live in the “old” days of Arkansas. They visited the Dog Trot house where they learned to husk corn, learned to milk a cow, and how the laundry was done! 1st graders also got to sing along in the old school house!
2nd Grade visited Ferncliff Nature School in Little Rock and got to participate in a Nature Quest! Students collected clues and worked in small cooperative groups to crack the mysterious code of their nature quest! 2nd Grade has a great time working together outside!
