Literacy Night was a great night!! If you joined us, we hope you enjoyed yourself! xmas1

Our Eastside Choir Kicked off the Night with some very festive songs! They sounded awesome! Thank you to Museum of Discovery for coming, and putting on a great demonstration! The Science stations through out the hallway were also fun! Students got to make their own comic strip and turn it into a movie. Grades k-2 teachers walked families through the "How to" process of making Holiday Slime! Grades 3-5 teachers walked families went the "How to" process of making melting snowmen! These were both a very fun, but messy Holiday “How-to” science experiments! Thank you to New Life Church and Crosspoint Church for donating cookies and hot chocolate! They were so yummy and we love having your smiling faces in our building! We can’t forget Santa! He was there taking pictures with all the boys and girls of Eastside! Students even got to write him letters and send them to the North Pole.

Thank you to all of our sponsors for the great door prizes and donations. First Service, 1st Security, Suite 41, Southern Saavy, GLOW, Daisy A Day, Steak and Shake, M’s Daily Dose, Sonic,  We had lots of smiling people who's names were drawn! Thank you to Menchies Ice Cream for donating proceeds from the ice cream sold that night!
